Winter Climbing

Our winter climbing course is designed for people who want to climb snow and ice. From January to March we regularly run winter climbing activities on Ben Nevis and in the mountains in Glencoe. If conditions permit we can also run this course in Snowdonia. The course can be tailored to your individual level of experience, from grade III to V. Routes like Curved Ride, Aonach Eagach, Green Gully, Point Five Gully and Orion Face could potentially form part of this course.

The course is open to anyone aged 18yrs and over who has experience of winter mountaineering or winter climbing. It can be very physically demanding therefore to get the most benefit you should be in good shape before the course begins.

Instructors are hired on a daily basis allowing you to choose the length of course you require. The minimum course duration consists of 1 day and costs £200 at a ratio of 1 instructor to 2 clients.
