This 2 day course is aimed at people who are looking to gain the Summer Mountain Leader (ML(S)) qualification. It covers all aspects of the assessment course including micro navigation, reduced visibility navigation, group management, wild camping, security on steep ground and emergency procedures. It is conducted by qualified Mountaineering Instructors who will demonstrate skills and techniques which you will be able to practise under their supervision. At the end of the course the instructors will create an individual action plan for you to work with so when the assessment arrives you can approach it full of confidence.

Cost for this 2 day course is £150 per person. For a course to run a minimum of 3 people is required. Each candidate is required to bring suitable clothing for being in the mountains for 2 days and a good pair of mountaineering boots.
