The nature of adventure activities means there will always be a degree of risk. The degree of risk has been assessed for each activity and is closely monitored session by session by the supervisors to ensure it remains at a manageable level. For management and safety reasons we group single bookings together with people of a similar ability and age. Please be as flexible as possible with your desired booking dates. Any medical, physical or psychological conditions which may affect your ability to complete your chosen activity must be highlighted to your session supervisor prior to commencement of activities. Each participant will need to complete a medical declaration before activities commence. You will need to bring with you certain items of personal clothing, these depend on the activity you choose to do. You will be sent a list detailing the clothing required for each activity at the time of enquiry. A parental consent form must be completed for children under 18 years old unless they are accompanied during the session by a parent or guardian. Parental consent forms will be forwarded to you at time of enquiry. The weather conditions are out of our control and may force last minute re-scheduling. You will be given as much notice of activity re-scheduling as possible. We will make every effort to find an alternative activity meaning your're not left with an empty day.
For a group up to 8 in number you will be asked for a 25% non refundable deposit. For a group of 8 people or more you will be asked for £100 non refundable deposit. For activities cancelled by Llyn Adventures, (not including weather cancellations*) you will receive a full refund. *weather cancellations happen when the safety of participants is compromised by, for example, high wind, rough sea, high water levels, etc, etc. Post activity feedback, preferably in writing, is always welcomed and encouraged. Policy
Risk Awareness
Your supervisor will provide you with the appropriate safety equipment, instruct you on its correct use and give you “on the ground” guidance allowing you to safely complete your chosen activity. The instructions you receive from your supervisor should be understood and followed for your own safety and that of others around you.
You, the client, are free to remove yourself from part or all of the activity at any time if you feel overly concerned. In the unlikely event of you feeling un-satisfied with any part of your activity please speak to you session supervisor at the earliest possible opportunity.
